SABI ENSEMBLE, founded by Carina Cosgrave in 2024, is a critically acclaimed ensemble performing on historical instruments and dedicated to bringing marginalised composers and their music to the forefront.
Their debut album, FROM THE HEART, received a four-star review from The Times and was included in their list of ‘Best Classical Albums of 2025.’
Supported by the Arts Council, the Royal College of Music, and the Continuo Foundation, the ensemble has quickly established a reputation for their work, they have been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and performed at Kings Place London, in collaboration with Black Lives in Music.
At the heart of SABI ENSEMBLE’S work is a commitment to place underrepresented voices and repertoire at the centre of their programming. With growing recognition and a distinctive artistic vision they are emerging as one of the UKs most compelling ensembles - bringing historically lost voices to life through their music and stories.
